I was in hope that this app pertained the same learning capabilities like the learn Spanish app called doulingo which is great this app is just a mess not even a hot mess poor poor AppStore get a better app for learning Japanese

The search function generally didnt work. When you want to quickly translate an English word, it usually failed.

This is an okay app. Mostly because it has some useful common phrases and such, which are really helpful. But when it comes to the romaji version, its very misleading to new speakers to replace a syllable like "cha" and turn it into "cya". It doesnt make much sense either. Please fix the romaji. It confused me at first and Ive been studying for a good 4+ years. Lord knows how its misguided new speakers. Plus, learning hiragana, the characters dont match up.

This especially helped me learn numbers from 1-1,000,000!

I love this app! It gives you audio, an option to slow down the pace so you better understand, and you can favorite words. The only thing that upsets me is that you have to upgrade to get the full version but I understand. Amazing app!

I am most pleased that I do not need internet to use this app, and I am excited to use it, but I also intend to combine with watching Anime in Japanese with subtitles and catching the words I recognize. Thats me, but maybe that helps someone else! Thank you!

I downloaded this app because I was very interested in the Japanese culture and language. This app was far more helpful than I though it would be. The lessons are so detailed and helps me really understand how the language works. I honestly have no complaints for this app. It is fantastic!

A great app to learn basic Japanese phrases for travel or as an introduction to the language. Very direct and easy to use.

After a week I already know a bunch of words. :) fastest Ive ever learned a language :)
